Terracon seeks an experienced Geotechnical Engineer Operations Lead to join the Gulf Coast Region, based in Mobile, AL. You will supervise projects, oversee proposals and cost estimates, and manage department operations to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires leading safety initiatives, ensuring quality, and developing client relationships while guiding team mentorship and growth within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science or geology with 5 years’ experience, or 9 years without a degree.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates of varying complexity.
• Direct short-range business development to ensure adequate fees for payroll.
• Plan recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of department staff.
• Prepare and execute the department annual business plan.
• Oversee revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing and profitability.
• Lead safety efforts and promote a safe work environment.
• Monitor and improve project quality and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
