Job summary

Terracon in Mobile, AL seeks a mid-level engineering professional to manage and execute small to medium projects. You will lead field investigations, perform engineering calculations, and develop plans and reports while coordinating with senior staff and clients.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree or Engineer in Training are noted preferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Engineering Intern (Engineer in Training) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Interact with client and project team in developing scope of services and communicating project progress.
• Supervise field staff including graduate/field engineers, engineering technicians, exploration teams, laboratory staff and other support personnel.
• Coordinate and supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and evaluation of respective data, development of recommendations.
• Develop plans, schedules, conducts, and/or coordinates detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Work closely with senior-level project manager to gain project management and engineering experience.
