Job summary

Terradyne Engineering seeks a QC-Inspector to oversee the Quality Control Program implementation and ensure project compliance. You will lead weekly quality control meetings with Engineers, provide project reports, answer client questions, and serve as the go-to person for the project.

The role requires field and lab testing on soils, concrete, and aggregates, with responsibilities for reporting, training, and coordinating field staff with operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or Construction.
• EIT with two years of airport paving experience or equivalent.
• NICET II with three+ years of highway/transportation experience or B.S. with E.I.T. considered.
• NICET III certified in highway materials/construction technician (preferred).
• Nuclear Density Gauge Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine to moderately complex projects with technical expertise to meet client expectations.
• Prepare proposals, project setup, contracts, test data review, field report review, project summaries, and invoices.
• Train and review field technicians; hold client or contractor meetings.
