Job summary

GeoTek Engineering & Testing Services seeks an experienced professional to lead our Quality Control Program. The role requires proficiency in construction plan reading and ASTM testing procedures, with responsibilities spanning field and laboratory QC inspections and documentation.

Ideal candidates will have experience in construction QC or materials testing, familiarity with ASTM standards, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction quality control or materials testing.
• Proficiency with ASTM procedures and standards.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the materials lab accreditation process and maintain records.
• Perform and document quality control inspections and testing per ASTM standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specs for QA/QC.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing as required on projects.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with project personnel.
• Ensure work complies with project specs, standards, and quality requirements.
• Communicate findings with project managers, contractors, engineers, and field staff.
• Maintain up-to-date testing, inspection, and staff training records.
