Delve Underground is seeking an experienced Civil/Geotechnical Ground Improvement Engineer to support heavy civil tunnel projects. You will apply ground improvement, excavation support, and constructability insights to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain licensure where appropriate.
• Experience in civil/geotechnical heavy civil construction.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for ground improvement and excavation systems.
• Evaluate selection of ground improvement and excavation methods based on site conditions and cost.
• Perform constructability input and reviews of plans and designs.
• Develop project specifications related to ground improvement and support systems.
• Identify construction challenges and interface risks during design.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with cost estimates, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Provide on-site engineering support during construction and field observations.
