Job summary

Ferguson seeks an Outside Sales Representative for Geosynthetics and Stormwater to drive growth in Northern Indiana. The role covers field-based selling from Schererville, South Bend, and Ft. Wayne locations; candidate must live within 30 minutes of one of these sites.

You will build long-term relationships with contractors and engineers, deliver technical support, and manage territory with CRM tools. A base plus commission plan applies with uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Geosynthetics and Stormwater products preferred.
• Civil engineering background is a plus.
• Willingness to travel weekly throughout the territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and navigating multiple software systems.
• Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Train and collaborate with branch and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical and site support via presentations, meetings, and demonstrations.
• Build relationships with contractors, engineers, and agencies; organize Lunch and Learns.
• Report market conditions, bid strategy, and activities to leadership monthly.
• Use CRM to manage territory, calls, meetings, bids, orders, and projects.
• Identify new leads through market research and industry events; maintain client communications.
• Attend tradeshows and conferences to raise product awareness.
