Job summary

Solmax seeks an Engineering Business Manager to develop and execute a strategic plan for geosynthetic VAPs within the designated region. The role is remote with travel, requiring leadership across engineering, marketing and sales to drive the business plan and profitability.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, develop case studies and customer-focused campaigns, and deliver technical training and demonstrations at trade shows and on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, biosystems engineering, construction management or related field
• 5+ years engineering/technical experience in Transportation sector
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Build customer relations for long-term growth with regular support contacts
• Lead regional marketing strategy and tactical execution for VAP positioning
• Coordinate with Roadway and LCS teams to implement marketing and sales plans
• Support engineering services, regional sales, marketing, and operations
• Collaborate on strategic business plan development and adjustments
• Conduct technical training, presentations and demonstrations for customers
• Develop marketing campaigns and training materials with the Director of Marketing
