Michels Corporation’s Mi-Tech Services seeks a Civil Design Engineer – Geostructural & Temporary Works to design and analyze temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects. You will develop practical, constructible solutions for foundations, retaining walls, earth retention, and temporary construction structures.

You’ll work with seasoned engineers to perform calculations, review drawings, assess loads, and support project pursuits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience; internships or co-op ok.
• Foundational knowledge of structural analysis, mechanics, reinforced concrete/steel design.
• Familiarity with calculations, drawings, and design documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare engineering calculations and review design/shop drawings.
• Evaluate structural loads and soil-structure interaction.
• Support project pursuits with preliminary analyses and design evaluations.
• Collaborate with structural/geotechnical engineers, PMs and field teams.
