Mi-Tech Services, part of the Michels Family of Companies, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer - Geostructural & Temporary Works to design and analyze temporary and permanent structures for utility and heavy civil projects.

You will work with a team of engineers to develop practical, constructible solutions for foundations, retaining walls, earth retention, excavation support, and temporary works, with emphasis on safety and quality. Growth within a respected infrastructure group awaits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline.
• 0-3 years of relevant engineering experience preferred, including internships, co-ops, or applicable engineering project experience.
• Foundational knowledge of structural analysis, engineering mechanics, and reinforced concrete or steel design.
• Familiarity with engineering calculations, technical drawings, and design documentation.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and construction teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing engineering calculations and reviewing design and shop drawings.
• Evaluating structural loads and soil-structure interaction.
• Supporting project pursuits through preliminary engineering analyses and design evaluations.
• Collaborating with structural and geotechnical engineers, project managers, and field construction teams to solve technical challenges.
