Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) invites a Systems Engineer to design, customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications. You will develop software with Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript, and author technical documentation.

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and US citizenship. You will work in a DevSecOps team using ArcGIS Enterprise, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and related COTS tools to deliver secure geospatial solutions.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Hands-on experience with AGILE software development in a DoD/GeoINT environment.
• Experience integrating security best practices into GIS development lifecycle.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a DevSecOps setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, customize, deploy, and test enterprise GIS applications.
• Perform software development using Python, C#, C++, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Author and maintain technical documentation (guides, config updates, versioning notes).
• Implement geospatial data acquisition, preparation, and conversion processes.
• Support RMF compliance for access controls and system security.
• Manage access roles and permissions within ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot OGC web services (WMS, WFS, WMTS, WCS, OGC Features).
• Integrate containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Contribute to AI/ML/DL system support including training data management and model validation.
• Conduct QA/QC, code reviews, and lifecycle compliance.
• Remediate vulnerabilities from Static Code Analysis and container scans (STIG alignment).
• Participate in requirements analysis, software design, and development best practices.
• Collaborate with a small agile team in a DevSecOps environment.
• Utilize COTS tools such as ENVI, RemoteView, Erdas Imagine, ArcGIS, Skyline.
