Job summary

Civ Robotics inc. in Houston seeks a Geospatial Support & Operations Manager to build and run our local support operation.

You’ll guide customers through setup, workflows, and field use, while coordinating equipment readiness and inventory. You’ll train operators on-site and remotely, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to improve products and service.

Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial technology, surveying, GNSS/GPS positioning, construction layout, or related products.
• Experience providing customer-facing technical support, product training, or equipment onboarding.
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically and distinguish setup issues from advanced problems.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to customers of varying experience.
• Excellent organization to manage support requests, inventory, and daily priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day customer support and resolve questions related to system setup and workflows.
• Deliver customer training and onboarding remotely and on job sites.
• Apply geospatial knowledge to field surveying and construction-layout workflows.
• Coordinate advanced support and equipment replacements when needed.
• Run the local support operation with inventory, shipping, and deployments.
• Maintain equipment readiness and quality using established procedures.
• Improve support processes and documentation and establish standard operating procedures for Houston.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Engineering to share feedback.
