Job summary

Civ Robotics in Houston is seeking a Geospatial Support & Operations Manager to lead the local support operation, train customers, and own day-to-day field activities. You’ll coordinate equipment readiness, inventory, shipments, and on-site deployments while helping customers adopt our geospatial systems and workflows in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience with geospatial technology, surveying, GNSS/GPS positioning, construction layout, or related tech.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical support, product training, or equipment onboarding.
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically and escalate complex issues to the right team.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to customers at varying levels.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day customer support for setup, positioning, workflows, and equipment use; ensure issues are resolved.
• Deliver customer training and onboarding remotely and on job sites.
• Apply geospatial knowledge to advise on surveying and construction-layout workflows and identify issues.
• Coordinate advanced support and equipment replacements; document steps and coordinate with Engineering/Level 2 support.
• Run the local support operation: manage equipment readiness, inventory, shipments, and deployments.
• Maintain equipment readiness through standard setup and readiness checks before shipping or use.
• Improve support processes; develop troubleshooting guides and training materials for Houston.
