Job summary

Esri is seeking a Technical Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor for strategic customers, designing and evolving enterprise geospatial systems that support critical operations. You will bridge GIS with enterprise IT and cloud technologies, guiding architectural decisions and delivering hands-on enablement across the ArcGIS platform.

This role emphasizes solving complex challenges and fostering long-term, trusted partnerships to maximize GIS value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in GIS technical support or related customer-facing role.
• 3+ years ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, configuration, administration, and best practices.
• Experience with enterprise geodatabases and data management workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and consulting skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Quick learner of cloud and AI-enabled capabilities for customer challenges.
• Experience with enterprise IT architectures and business objectives.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Mathematics, GIS, Engineering, IT, or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize emerging technologies including AI-enabled workflows and cloud GIS.
• Provide onsite, hands-on solution enablement across Esri technologies.
• Act as an extension of a customer’s GIS team and Esri Program Team to accelerate progress.
• Drive adoption of ArcGIS capabilities and AI-enabled workflows.
• Engage directly with strategic GIS teams to understand requirements and support implementations.
• Coordinate with Esri Program Team and reach-back resources for support.
• Support configuration and integration for business teams across ArcGIS capabilities.
• Maintain awareness of customer priorities to align work with goals.
