Job summary

Ayoroa Simmons LLC is seeking a Director of Geospatial Practice to lead business development, shape market strategy, and drive growth across geospatial analytics and reality capture. You will partner with leadership to expand into GIS, analytics, and new geographies while maintaining technical authority with clients.

The role emphasizes origination, strategic decision-making, and a strong client-facing presence in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond, with occasional travel to national client sites.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional (PLS or PE) with survey practice in at least one Mid-Atlantic jurisdiction.
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, geography, architecture, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Make bid/no-bid recommendations on geospatial pursuits and manage win rate.
• Set pricing posture and pursue strategies; defend margin.
• Recommend teaming structures and market engagement strategies.
• Origin and convert opportunities; build and manage named accounts.
