ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a Software/ML Engineer to support Microsoft's Spectre team and NGA. This hybrid US-based role involves cloud-native backend development, ML model support, and geospatial data workflows in collaboration with Microsoft Planetary Computer.

The position is open to junior, mid, or senior candidates; US citizenship and security screening apply. Remote collaboration is common across NGA and Microsoft teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, software or related field is required.
• 2+ years delivering ML or data-driven software and backend components.
• Ability to meet security screening requirements for government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native Python microservices at scale.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services with Azure AKS and messaging systems.
• Apply IaC and CI/CD to automate deployment and ensure production readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers and PMs on designs.
