Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a Software/ML Engineer to support Microsoft's Spectre team for NGA. The role combines cloud-native backend development, AI/ML, and geospatial data insights in a government contracting environment.

The position offers hybrid work (2 days onsite at SCIF, 3 days remote) with locations in Springfield, VA, Reston, VA, or Redmond, WA. Candidates should have 2+ years ML delivery experience and strong Python, REST APIs, and Azure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/SE/CE or related field.
• At least 2 years of ML delivery experience in backend services.
• Experience delivering high-quality code for services, servers, distributed systems, and backend architecture.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native microservices in Python at scale.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services with Azure AKS, IAM, Redis.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and production readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, designers, and program managers to deliver solid technical designs.
