Job summary

ITC Federal is seeking a Software/ML Engineer to support Microsoft Spectre and the NGA, delivering cloud-native backend services and AI-driven geospatial capabilities. The role spans junior to senior levels, focusing on scalable Python-based services and production-grade reliability.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ML delivery, experience with REST APIs and Docker, and can navigate security and government screening requirements. Hybrid work arrangement with NGA as preferred location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with machine learning delivery responsibilities.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend services, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud-native backend services for AI foundation models and geospatial workflows.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Azure AKS, IAM, Redis, and messaging systems.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and ensure production readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers, and Program Managers to deliver solid technical designs.
