CobbFendley in El Paso, Texas, seeks an experienced Geospatial Field Technician to support field operations for civil infrastructure projects. The role involves data collection, staking, and survey support across varied outdoor environments.

You will operate Trimble and AutoCAD tools, travel regionally, and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurements and safe practices. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of field experience and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years field experience in civil infrastructure
• Knowledge of field operations, safety requirements, and environmental considerations
• Ability to travel regionally and interstate, including overnights

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field assignments with or without supervision
• Take the lead on construction staking tasks, including hammering iron rods, hubs
• Support boundary and topographic surveys, including clearing brush and digging holes
• Independently operate survey equipment, including positioning prism poles and backsights
• Perform daily inventory checks and manage restocking of supplies for upcoming projects
• Open manholes in accordance with safety procedures
• Work around utilities and ensure safe, efficient field operations
