Army National Guard is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to collect, process, and present geographic information to support military operations and battlefield visualization. You will compile data from remote sensing, intelligence data, and existing topographic products to assist leaders in decision making.

You will learn to design geospatial products, create maps, and prepare briefs that convey terrain and spatial analyses to commanders in the field and in training environments.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Imagery interpretation and exploitation.
• Interest in geography, maps, and charts.

Responsibilities

• Create geographic data and compile them into maps.
• Create and maintain multiple geospatial databases.
• Prepare military-style briefs covering all aspects of the terrain.
