Job summary

Katmai Government Services is seeking a senior GIS Engineer/Software Developer to support the REDi and UROC missions, developing features, testing, and documenting. You will design and implement ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments, manage data, and provide technical assistance across servers, databases, and integration points.

The role requires five+ years in engineering/science, experience with JavaScript, C#, REST/OData, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years engineering/scientific experience in ERDC systems.
• Design and maintain web apps using JavaScript and C#.
• Develop REST APIs and data endpoints for reporting and ETL.
• Configure SharePoint-based business apps and workflows.
• Create SQL Server procedures, views, and reports.
• Develop automated reporting with PDFs, Excel and Word outputs.
• Build interactive ESRI GIS visualizations and ArcGIS workflows.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infra.
• Security clearance (Secret) and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Update REDi portal geospatial requests.
• Design and manage ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Maintain documentation for hardware, software, and data.
• Create and publish ArcGIS services and processes.
• Install and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise, MS SQL, and hardware.
• Process and translate geospatial data and imagery for ArcGIS.
• Provide ArcGIS Enterprise server administration support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team sprints.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
