Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud GIS Administrator/Engineer to support federal geospatial cloud-hosting clients in AWS, delivering ArcGIS Enterprise on Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes. You will provide technical leadership and hands-on administration of ArcGIS Enterprise systems and design, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD.

The role is in a ticket-driven, service-oriented environment with distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, GIS, or related field, or 4 years of related experience.
• 5+ years administering ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise in production, including ArcGIS Server/Portal/Data Store.
• Windows and Linux administration experience.
• 3+ years as a Cloud Engineer with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• IaC familiarity (Terraform Terragrunt CloudFormation ARM) and production IaC design.
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• 2+ years with Kubernetes (production) including cluster management.

Responsibilities

• Administer ArcGIS Enterprise on Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
• Support ArcGIS Enterprise architectures on EC2 and containerized deployments.
• Handle tickets, incidents, and changes in Jira/ServiceNow.
• Lead cloud infrastructure design and maintenance for AWS, Azure, or other clouds.
• Implement IaC for automated provisioning of GIS components.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ArcGIS configurations and infra.
• Support ArcGIS for Kubernetes deployments, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
