Xcel Energy is seeking a Geospatial Data Technician I to edit gas, electric and landbase facility information within the Enterprise GIS, applying QA processes to ensure data accuracy for downstream applications. You will focus on data integrity and GIS maintenance to improve reliability.

This role may provide specialized mapping services to internal/external customers, including as-built scanning and data digitization, contributing to accurate records and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Completion of degree in GIS or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and work

Responsibilities

• Edit gas, electric and landbase facility information within Xcel Energy's Enterprise GIS
• Apply QA processes to ensure data integrity for downstream applications
• Maintain GIS and AutoCAD land base data with corrections and field verification
• Support as-built scanning and input of related documentation to the GIS
