You will perform landbase data placement, map corrections, as-built scanning, and provide timely GIS maintenance while collaborating with internal and external clients. A GIS-related degree is required and the position offers competitive benefits.

Position Summary The Geospatial Data Technician I performs edits on gas, electric and landbase facility information within Xcel Energy's Enterprise GIS and subsequent software applications; utilizing QA processes to ensure data integrity for advanced downstream applications. Focusing on general data integrity and GIS maintenance work in order to improve data accuracy and reliability. May provide specialized services and mapping products to internal and/or external customers as needed.
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $21.90 to $30.70 per hour
