B&A seeks a Mid Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) to support a federal government client at NGA Washington (NCE) in Springfield, VA. The role focuses on building automation and data‑integration solutions to streamline geospatial and intelligence data collection, transformation, and dissemination.

The candidate will work with Python and its analytics ecosystem to deliver high‑quality, scalable data products and collaborate with government stakeholders on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, GEOINT support, or related technical disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions in Python and its data science ecosystem to collect, transform, and disseminate data.
• Connect multiple databases and enterprise systems to automate data collection, transformation, and dissemination.
• Automate repetitive business and analytic tasks using scripts and workflows.
• Gather and disseminate metrics and operational data.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement automation solutions that improve workflow performance.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
