Job summary

Culmen International is seeking a Mid-Level Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to support on-site at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. You will help transform complex datasets into actionable insights for the Analysis Office.

You will coordinate with clients and stakeholders to design data-driven solutions, automate workflows, build interactive visualizations, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining mission-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science or related technical field is required.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly is required.
• 9+ years in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting IC operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with large structured/unstructured data to streamline evaluation of datasets.
• Lead design of solutions and refinement of existing processes.
• Translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources and risks.
• Apply exploratory data analysis to identify relations and patterns.
• Combine math, programming, and data to provide insights for decision makers.
• Research and implement optimization models and data management strategies.
• Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using modern tools.
• Conduct peer reviews to improve workflows and methodologies.
• Mentor team members to increase technical skills and knowledge.
