Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a GIS Data Administrator to own the integrity and governance of the enterprise geodatabase and spatial data ecosystem. You will administer ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal, manage data models, and build pipelines that ingest land, permitting, and operational data for geospatial analysis and field operations.

You will work with the GIS Developer and team to ensure data accuracy, organization, and reliable access across the organization, while coordinating with IT for backend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in GIS data management, geodatabase administration, or spatial data engineering.
• Expert in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal geodatabase administration.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server Spatial.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and administer the enterprise geodatabase environment (ArcGIS Portal/ArcGIS Online).
• Define data models, schemas, domains, and topology rules to meet project and regulatory needs.
• Manage geodatabase versioning and performance, plan storage and capacity.
• Develop ETL pipelines and automate data updates from multiple data sources.
• Ensure data governance, metadata standards, QA/QC, and data catalogs.
