Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a GIS Developer to design, build, and maintain geospatial apps and tools that power field and office workflows. You will work with ArcGIS Experience Builder, dashboards, and mobile solutions to connect field crews in real time.

The role collaborates with GIS, Engineering, Land, Operations, and Permitting to deliver reliable geospatial capabilities across the organization. A strong background in Python for GIS automation and Esri platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent in GIS, geography or related field.
• 3+ years building apps on Esri platform (ArcGIS Online/Enterprise).
• Experience configuring ArcGIS mobile apps (Field Maps, Survey123, Workforce, QuickCapture).
• Proficiency with Python for GIS automation (ArcPy, arcgis Python API).
• Basic REST API knowledge and web-service integration.
• Strong GIS data formats, projections, and Western U.S. coordinates.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom GIS web applications using ArcGIS tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, StoryMaps, and operational views.
• Automate geospatial workflows and geoprocessing tasks with Python.
• Manage hosted layers, map services, and web maps via ArcGIS Online/Portal.
• Deploy mobile workforce apps and design offline data collection forms.
• Provide training and ongoing support to field users.
