Job summary

Fervo Energy Company seeks a GIS Data Administrator to own the integrity and governance of its enterprise geodatabase and spatial data ecosystem.

The role sits on the data infrastructure side of the GIS program, administering the geodatabase, building data pipelines, and maintaining authoritative land status, project boundaries, and operational spatial datasets relied upon by GIS analysis, applications, and field operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of professional GIS data management experience.
Expert proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal geodatabase administration.
Hands-on experience with enterprise relational spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server Spatial).
Experience building automated spatial data pipelines using Python.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and administer the enterprise geodatabase environment (ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online).
Define and enforce geodatabase data models, schemas, and topology rules.
Manage geodatabase versioning workflows for concurrent editing.
Monitor geodatabase performance and plan storage/capacity needs.
Administer back-end spatial databases in coordination with IT.
