Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a GIS Data Administrator to own the integrity and governance of its geospatial data ecosystem. You will administer the enterprise geodatabase, design data models, and build automated pipelines that ingest land, engineering, permitting, and operational data for a growing energy portfolio.

You will collaborate with GIS developers and IT teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility for GIS analysis, field operations, and reporting across the Western U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Geodatabase Administration: design, build, and administer the enterprise geodatabase environment (ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and ArcGIS Online).
• Data Pipelines & Integration: develop ETL pipelines to ingest, validate, and publish spatial and tabular data into the enterprise geodatabase.
• Data Governance & Quality Control: establish and enforce data standards, metadata conventions, and QA/QC workflows across the GIS program.
• Organizational Support & Collaboration: serve as the internal SME on spatial data infrastructure and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
