Job summary

The U.S. Department of State is seeking a qualified Specialist to support the Office of Acceptance Facility Oversight within the Passport Services Directorate. This role focuses on geospatial analysis and data-driven oversight of the Passport Application Acceptance Program (PAAP) to ensure broad and convenient access for U.S.

citizens. You will provide analytics to PPT management, coordinate with multiple agencies and external stakeholders, and develop recommendations to improve program

Qualifications

• Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F.
• Specialized experience: 1 year at GS-12 level showing coordination of cross-agency initiatives, data analysis, BI dashboards, data-driven recommendations, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Conducts geospatial studies and analysis of passport facilities to ensure optimal geographic coverage.
• Provides expert consultant services to PPT management on PAAP issues.
• Compiles data and applies analytical techniques to interpret qualitative and quantitative data for QA, risk management and resources.
• Provides analytics services that ensure effective management and oversight of PAAP.
