Job summary

Enviva seeks a Geospatial Analyst I to join its Sustainability team. This early-career role supports data accuracy, workflow automation, and GIS operations across forestry, supplier traceability, and reporting.

You will edit data, run tools, and help automate manual tasks while collaborating with operations teams. The position emphasizes data quality, workflow improvements, and producing standalone maps and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, forestry, environmental science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two to four years of relevant GIS experience.
• Ability to independently edit data, run geoprocessing tools, and produce maps in ArcGIS Pro.
• Understanding of feature classes, tables, joins, relates, coordinates, and common geospatial data formats.

Responsibilities

• Review geospatial and tabular data for completeness and accuracy against standards.
• Identify and communicate geometry, attribute, and data-model issues via hosted services.
• Run geoprocessing tools, SQL queries, data updates, and QA/QC checks.
• Maintain authoritative tract, stand, supplier, and related datasets.
• Provide first-line support for Field Maps and other GIS applications.
