Job summary

Stantec is seeking a talented GIS Technician / Geospatial Analyst to join our Environmental Services team in Richmond, VA. You will support mapping, spatial analysis, and data management within an ESRI Enterprise environment for the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will work with a team of over 160 geospatial professionals, produce web maps and dashboards, and help field crews with data collection while upholding quality standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field with GIS coursework.
• 1–3 years of professional GIS experience preferred.
• Experience delivering GIS products for environmental assessments.

Responsibilities

• Compile, create and maintain spatial data across ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Produce web maps and dashboards using ArcGIS Online and AGO.
• Support field data collection for wetlands, waterways, and species occurrences.
• Adhere to cartographic standards and QA/QC processes.
• Collaborate with GIS staff and report to the Mid-Atlantic Geospatial Team Lead.
