Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Geoscientist to join the team in Westminster, CO. You will be supervised by the Lead Geophysicist and collaborate with remote sensing, geospatial field services, and geotechnical teams on renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include planning surveys, processing data, coordinating fieldwork, and delivering reports and proposals. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion or near completion of a B.S. or M.S. in geological sciences.
• 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience collecting and processing near-surface geophysical data (GPR, magnetometers).
• Familiarity with GIS, remote sensing, and geotechnical testing.
• Strong written and spoken English communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Plan geophysical surveys and acquire data in the field (GPR, resistivity, magnetometer).
• Process and interpret ground-based and aerial geophysical and remote sensing data.
• Lead on-site coordination of geotechnical site investigations with drilling subcontractors.
• Prepare geophysical, remote sensing, and geotechnical deliverables and proposals.
• Update management on work status, workload, and progress.
