Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. invites motivated students pursuing geoscience degrees to join our internship program in New Albany, Ohio.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting subsurface evaluation efforts across exploration and development projects, with exposure to geologic and seismic interpretation, mapping, and analysis. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong academic performance, collaborative communication across disciplines, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor, master, or doctorate degree in a geoscience program.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email applications.
  • Possess deductive reasoning skills and be able to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Interns will support subsurface evaluation efforts related to exploration and development projects, and obtain hands‑on experience in geologic and seismic interpretation, along with subsurface mapping and analysis.
