Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. invites university students pursuing bachelor, master, or doctorate degrees in geoscience to join as interns.

Interns will support subsurface evaluation, gaining hands-on experience in geologic and seismic interpretation, subsurface mapping, and analysis to generate actionable recommendations. Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor, master, or doctorate in geoscience.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across disciplines.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email applications.
  • Possess deductive reasoning skills and be able to analyze and synthesize information for problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, and demonstrate effective project coordination, facilitation, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support subsurface evaluation efforts related to exploration and development projects.
  • Obtain hands-on experience in geologic and seismic interpretation, along with subsurface mapping and analysis.
  • Generate geologic maps and provide objective data-driven recommendations.
