Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer in the Atlanta area to originate residential mortgages through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate eligibility, and maintain client relationships while meeting regulatory and internal standards.

The role offers commission-based earnings with potential for growth based on performance, plus a full benefits package. NMLS registration is required, and candidates should have at least one year of mortgage lending

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Extensive experience developing external business via referral partners in the market.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and assesses credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and tracks loan progress.
• Structures loans per lending practices and regulations.
• Develops marketing plans and maintains realtor/customer networks.
• Responds to calls and discusses loan products and qualification details.
• Cross-sells bank products and services; supports sales goals.
• Reads surveys/appraisals and addresses issues in encroachments/violations.
• Represents Regions in outreach activities to promote loan products.
