Regions is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network. You will complete applications, analyze financial data, and communicate progress with borrowers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes building external referrals, meeting regulatory requirements, and achieving production targets in a commission-based environment across Georgia locations, including Buckhead and Atlanta.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mortgage lending experience preferred.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Strong network development with referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data for qualification.
• Maintains client contact and communicates loan progress.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops a business plan and marketing strategy with referrals and prospects.
• Handles customer inquiries and discusses loan products and qualifications.
