Job summary

Georgia State Government is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 in Marietta, GA. The role supports the Division of Child Support Services within DHS and handles establishing and enforcing obligations for non-custodial parents.

Under supervision, you will manage cases, communicate with clients, and coordinate with legal and public agencies. Telework opportunities may be available depending on the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience.
• One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 1 (SST060) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
• Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
• Manages a caseload to ensure that child support obligations are met.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
