Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician in Baton Rouge, LA to perform testing and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel on construction projects. You will observe, collect samples, and prepare daily reports for the project manager, under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months of experience, and a valid driver\'s license. ACI certification within 90 days of hire is required; Nuclear Density Gauge certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and discusses data accuracy prior to submittal.
• Submits documentation and communicates results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Will be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility.
