Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Field Technician to perform on-site testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials, including soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will communicate results to the Project Manager and assist with data preparation and reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. Safety is a core responsibility on every project, with strict adherence to procedures and calibration of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of relevant field or lab experience.
• Experience with laptop computers and MS Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection per procedures.
• Documents findings clearly and communicates to PM.
• Maintains equipment and calibration.
• Operates and trains others as needed.
• Drives company vehicle and adheres to safety.
