Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is sourcing a Geologist for the Thacker Pass Lithium Clay project in northern Nevada. The role supports ore-control drilling, interpretation, block modelling, QA/QC, and production reconciliation with opportunities to lead tasks based on experience.

The position collaborates with operations, engineering, and environmental teams across the site, offering exposure from early careers to senior ownership in a growing mining operation.

Qualifications

• Collect, analyze, and interpret geological, structural, geochemical, and assay data.
• Plan and support ore-control drilling programs, with level of ownership based on experience.
• Develop, update, and maintain short-range geological, structural, and assay block models used for mine planning.
• Perform and maintain ore-control and production reconciliation tracking.
• Support geological QA/QC programs to ensure accurate and reliable data.
• Collaborate with mine operations, engineering, environmental teams, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support ore-control activities to identify ore and optimize extraction.
• Interpret drilling results and integrate geological information into models.
• Coordinate with drilling contractors and other technical teams on site.
• Provide geological guidance during transition to production and ongoing operations.
• Maintain geological files, QA/QC records, databases, and samples.
• Travel occasionally as required.
