Job summary

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, seeks a Geologist/Mining Engineer to develop long-term reserves of stone, sand and gravel across Central & Southern Utah, based in St. George. The role supports all aggregate plant operations and aims to extend quarry life with strategic mine planning.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in geology or mining, experience with geologic modeling and pit designs, and the ability to travel 25%–50% while ensuring safety standards and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Mine Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience at an active mine site or developing quality aggregate reserves.
• Knowledge of LOM resource and reserves, pit designs and 5-year block models.

Responsibilities

• Identify, secure, and develop high quality aggregate reserves for operations.
• Assist with geologic modeling, drilling, exploration, and reserves assessment.
• Develop 5-year block model maps and communicate LOM plans.
