Job summary

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is seeking an Environmental professional to ensure compliance across facilities in Central/Southern Utah. You will work with the environmental team on permitting, reporting, and innovative solutions, serving as a subject-matter expert.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, safety-minded, and capable of independent work. Travel and occasional nights/weekends are required as part of our safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an environmental or related field.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be 18+ years old and pass pre-employment checks.
• Willing to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain environmental permits for plants, sites, and projects.
• Develop and implement compliance plans for air quality, storm water, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and investigations.
• Review site documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure permit compliance and regulations.
• Provide training on environmental policies to employees.
• Keep abreast of regulatory changes and their impact.
• Respond to spills and coordinate with authorities when required.
