Job summary

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, seeks an Environmental professional to support compliance across Central/Southern Utah facilities. You will ensure permits, develop compliance plans, and train staff while aligning with industry standards and safety practices.

The role offers opportunities to lead environmental initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to sustainable solutions across plant and project operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an environmental or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and pass pre-employment checks is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain all environmental permits for plants, sites and projects.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance plans for air, storm water, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain documentation and inspections for compliance.
• Review site documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to permits and regulations.
• Provide environmental training to employees and assist contractors as needed.
• Report violations to management and regulatory agencies.
• Stay informed on changes to environmental legislation and trends.
