You will conduct field investigations, assist with site characterization, prepare documentation, and support proposal efforts. The position requires a degree in geology and up to 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field required.
• Proven ability to write clearly and communicate well.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Willingness to learn and grow in geology profession.
• Familiar with environmental testing and data reduction.
• Able to work outdoors and travel to sites.
• Physically capable of field tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations of soil, groundwater, surface water and more.
• Support site characterization from field data and reports.
• Perform basic construction observation and field testing tasks.
• Prepare accurate documentation of field activities and data.
• Apply training and software to analyze information.
• Draft technical sections of project communications and reports.
• Assist with scopes of work and cost estimating for proposals.
• Organize field data per project plans.
• Follow health and safety protocols on all work.
• Demonstrate company safety behaviors.
