Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our San Diego office. You will split time between field assignments and office work, leading parts of technical projects under senior staff guidance.

You’ll apply your geotechnical knowledge to investigations, design and data evaluation while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of design experience in seismic, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, ground improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead portions of project work from scope to final deliverables, under senior staff guidance.
• Perform geotechnical investigations, data evaluation, and design.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior staff on projects.
