Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Master's in geography; or a Bachelor's in geography with a Master's in geology, history, meteorology or oceanography; or a valid California Community College Credential; or the equivalent education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

Teach a part-time schedule of Geography courses as assigned.
Use pedagogy and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
Adhere to approved curriculum outlines.
Evaluate student progress with tests, exams, and assignments; provide timely grading.
Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records via district policy.
Fulfill duties of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
