Qualifications

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse backgrounds of community college students and commitment to equity-minded practices.
• Bachelor’s in geography and Master’s in geology, history, meteorology or oceanography; California CC Credential; or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Geography courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogies and technology for in-person, online, or hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines and course objectives.
• Maintain classroom records and timely grading/evaluation reports.
• Fulfill duties as assigned by the department.
