Job summary

Fulgent Therapeutics LLC is seeking a Genomics Sales Director to drive regional growth, forecast trends, and manage the regional business plan for assigned markets. You will forecast, analyze data, and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure revenue growth.

The role requires demonstrable experience in rare diseases/genomics, strong presentation skills, and the ability to educate stakeholders on Fulgent's service portfolio, with up to 50% travel and a performance-based commission

Qualifications

• BS or MS in life sciences; advanced degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in clinical, diagnostics, or biotech sales.
• Experience calling on Children’s Hospitals and academic institutions in rare diseases.
• Strong ownership, self‑direction, and ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proven record of meeting sales goals and negotiating with customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong scientific/technical aptitude for presentations and product demos.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent contact with customers, prospects, and partners to share product updates and sales information.
• Develop and implement regional business plans and sales strategies.
• Forecast sales, monitor market trends, and analyze data to adapt tactics.
• Educate customers on Fulgent's service menu and capabilities through presentations, seminars, and demos.
• Travel up to 50% and act as an advisor to the manager on sales strategy and market insights.
