Job summary

Virtusa seeks a Data, Cloud & DevOps Architect to design and scale secure cloud infrastructure and automated DevOps pipelines in a regulated environment. You will enable AI/ML capabilities, support genomics and bioinformatics data workflows, and govern modern workplace platforms.

Responsibilities include building scalable Nextflow-based pipelines, managing Seqera/Nexla integrations, and optimizing cloud spend with FinOps dashboards. A PMP/CSM and cloud certifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure cloud architectures and automated DevOps infrastructure.
• Familiarity with multi-AZ cloud deployments and cloud governance.
• Strong background in data engineering platforms and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes.
• Deploy AI/ML platforms and vector databases (Weaviate, Qdrant).
• Support Nextflow-based scientific workflows via Seqera and Nexla pipelines.
• Oversee governance for Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform.
• Lead FinOps initiatives for cloud spend optimization.
